Greetings Kinsfolk!

In our kinship celebration I realised we have many minstrels at max level and am now wondering if another is really needed. So now I am asking you , what class could help the kin best at max level? Should I pick up playing my burglar, my warden, guardian or minstrel? I enjoy playing all of them, this is only about what you think is needed most. Looking forward to your opinions.

Be not confused about the ministrels. Many are alts designed for the band. Secondly, we never have too many healers. Extra healers alongside nanteana, rosamundi or Ronimli are certainly welcome. My advice is to continue with your ministrel. But if you really want to change the class, maybe pick the burglar. We have very few people of this class. Tanks are useful too of course, but we recently gained quite some guardians and wardens already. On the end, don't worry about your class. Things tend to change, over half a year we might very well come short on ministrels. And don't let your main depend of what we have in the red company. I don't like to say this, but everyone of us must consider there may be a time you're not in the red company anymore. Just go with what you like: if this is ministrel, that is. If this is still something else, that's fine too.

Also, Nanteana's mini is yellow line, and I am blue. So we are not necessarily overburdened with the same class/spec, and they are nice to play together. I'm not sure what Ron is, sorry ;-)

My burglar Pennywort is mischief for debuffing.

I say go with the class that you enjoy playing the most. That's most important! If you enjoy your minstrel, by all means level them up for end-game. :)

From an end-game point-of-view, I would say that we actually need a good, well-geared Guardian at level-cap. But as we always say, play whatever you like the best.

In case anyone cares, the optimal composition for a 12-man raid would generally be something like this:

Tanks
Captain
Guardian

Healers
Minstrel
Minstrel or Rune-keeper

Support
Lore-master
Burglar
Captain

Damage
Champion
Warden
Rune-keeper or Hunter
Rune-keeper or Hunter

Flex slot
Captain, Rune-keeper, Hunter, Champion or Burglar

So generally speaking, the classes you'd ideally never want more than one of in a raid are Guardian, Warden and Lore-master. With just about any other class there's room for two (except Beornings, you never want any of those.
Of course I'm right
